Mrs. Aileen Lucille Andrews, 72 of 26241 Johnson Drive, Damascus, died Friday, Nov. 29, at Washington Hospital Center.

She was the wife of Richard Luther Andrews Sr., who died Nov. 4, 1988.

Born Jan. 7, 1919, in White Haven, Pa., she was a daughter of Lucy E. Linde of Ft. Myers, Fla., and the late Clayton Daneker.

Mrs. Andrews was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Damascus, the Damascus Garden Club and the Lewisdale Browningsville Homemakers Club for over 30 years.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are three children, Richard L. Andrews Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Myersville, Beryl A. Baker of Columbia and Donald R. Andrews of Damascus; three grandchildren, Melissa M. Hoffman of Rockville, Richard L. Andrews III of Myersville and Seth A. Baker of Columbia; two great-grandchildren, Amanda E. Hoffman and Jesse D. Hoffman; and three sisters, Beryl A. Caton and Peg Daneker, both of Ft. Myers, and Shirley Moyer of Palmerton, Pa.

Mrs. Andrews also leaves behind devoted friends Alan Bohrer of Rockville and Austin Greenawalt of Columbia.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 util time of memorial services at 10 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. The Rev. Ray Scheck, Mrs. Andrews' pastor, will officiate. Inurnment will be made in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer or to the American Cander Society.

The Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown, is in charge of arrangements.
