Suggested edit: Abigail was the daughter of John Sturges and Deborah Barlow of Fairfield, Connecticut. She married Simon Couch in about 1693. On 4 March 1697/1698, the will of her father John Sturges mentions daughter Abigail wife of Simon Couch and gave her a negro boy, establishing her as Abigail Sturges rather than Abigail Hall as given in Todd's History of Redding. Abigail and her husband Simon Couch were admitted to the Fairfield church on Aug. 8, 1708. After Simon's death she married John Andrews. On 6 January 1729/1730, dower in the estate of Ensign John Andrews was set to his widow, Abigail. The will of Abigail Andrews is dated 7 February 1729/30, proved 22 September 1730.
