Anita Ann Antley passed from this life at the age of 39, on Saturday, October 28, 2006.

Ms. Antley was born in Big Springs, Texas on March 27, 1967, to Ellis Carl Antley and Sue N. Harris (Barton). Determined to make her own way in the world, she lived a highly independent life, making friends and influencing people wherever she went. She graduated from Santa Fe High School, Santa Fe, Texas, in May of 1985. She went on to work in the Gulf Coast Petrochemical Industry, garnering a reputation as a hard worker and principled employee. She was known as a great friend, great companion, and in her last few years on this earth, became known as a great foster parent.

Anita was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Ida Onhiser, and Homer and Viola Antley.

She is survived by her father, Ellis Antley (Brenda), her mother, Sue N. Barton, brothers, Sam Antley and Carl Antley; sisters, Toni Smith and Liz Antley, an uncle, Jerry Onhiser and beloved companion, April Kelly as well as a host of friends and loved ones that will miss her greatly.

There will be a memorial service celebrating her life at Deer Park Funeral Home on Thursday, November 2, 2006, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation being from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.
