Mrs. Anderson was born Nov. 17, 1933, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Francisco and Mary (Carriero) Antonio. She worked in local factories for many years and prior to that, she worked as a seamstress. Ida was an avid reader and a fan of the UCONN ladies basketball team.
Ida is survived by her son, Joseph R. Membrino Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Wolcott; her beloved granddaughters, Melissa Morelli and her husband, James Jr. of Plymouth, and Tammie Membrino of Harwinton; and her great-grandchildren, Hannah Morelli and James Morelli, both of Plymouth. She also leaves her brother, George M. Antonio and his wife, Helene, of Watertown; her sisters, Frances Paolino of Prospect, and Elizabeth Angell and her husband, David, of Wolcott; and several generations of nieces and nephews. Ida was predeceased by her brother, Lionel Rodrigues; her sisters, Zora Wilkenson and Hilda Porter; and her grand-niece, Brianna Rose Antonio.
