Arthur "Art" Antonioni Jr., 86, passed away July 12, 2014. Survived by his children, Vernon (Judy) Antonioni of Muskogee, Okla., Kathy West, Stan "Snook" (Lynette Zinno) Antonioni and Byron (Judy) Antonioni, all of Pueblo; grandchildren, Gina (Danny) Hall of Muskogee, Brad (Brooke) Antonioni of Bakersfield, Calif., Jarred (Becky) West, Brent West, Karla (Matt) Thielbar, Ryan Antonioni and Lexy Antonioni, all of Pueblo, Cali (Daniel) Milks and Jennifer (Jesse) Ashwood of Muskogee; and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Meda Mae Antonioni on Jan. 16, 2010; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Cliff Bartell; and son-in-law, Steve West. Art was born to Arthur and Romalia Antonioni on March 6, 1928, in Berwind, Colo. Art and Meda were married in 1946 in Raton, N.M. Art was a district manager and training consultant for Prudential Life Insurance. He received many recognitions and awards in the field of insurance. Art was a partner/owner in Mesa Plaza Inc. and Triple Crown Sales Group. He also served on Walsenburg's city council in the 1950s. Member of B.P.O. Elks # 90, Eagles Lodge #145, Sons of Italy and Knights of Columbus. Art enjoyed spending time with his family and at his cabin in San Isabel. Viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Recitation of the Rosary and eulogy followed by the funeral Mass, will begin 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Our Lady of the Meadows, 23 Starling Dr. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Thank you to caregivers, Maria, Anna Marie, Jan, Helen and Maggie for their love and friendship shared with Art and his family and to Sangre de Cristo Hospice for the care they gave Art. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.
