Donald Lee Apostolo, 69, of Conroe, passed from this life on January 8, 2010, in Bandera, TX.

He was born August 29, 1940, in Conroe, TX. Mr. Apostolo was a graduate of Conroe High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

After attending Texas A & M University, he began a career as a Real Estate developer that included such local developments as Point Aquarius, Cape Malibu and Texas National among others in Montgomery County. At the time of his death, he was leading a major Hill Country residential development project in Bandera, TX.

Mr. Apostolo is survived by his wife Sandy of 43 years, one son, Brad and daughter-in-law, Megan of Seabrook, TX as well as one grandson, Jack, 5 years old. He is also survived by his sister, Jo Anne Edgmon of Conroe and brother-in-law, Steve; brother, John Signorelli of Conroe and sister-in-law, Pam and numerous nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Mary Signorelli of Conroe and brother, Bernie Apostolo.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at the Metcalf Funeral Chapel with Pastor Earl Williams officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at Metcalf Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tommy Metcalf, Frank Moore, Jimmy Jett, Don T. Phillips, Jerry Thames and Danny Signorelli.
