TREMONTON – Ruth Lavene Archibald Adams, 90, passed away on August 19, 2015. She was born to Vilate Haws and Parley Archibald on December 14, 1924 in Plymouth, Utah.

Ruth married Rex Adams on May 18, 1943. He passed away on September 27, 2006. She and Rex were avid square dancers and enjoyed a good round of golf.

During her life she lived in Plymouth, Utah; Tremonton, Utah; Promontory, Utah; Arbon Valley, Idaho; and St. George, Utah. She graduated from Bear River High School.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ruth was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was always an excellent homemaker and devoted her life to her family and the gospel.

Ruth is survived by her children: Kathleen (David) Willis, Kenneth (Annette) Adams and Mary Ann (Dennis) Jackman; 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and siblings, Sharon (Marlene) Archibald, Phyllis Newman, Lowell (Gayle) Archibald, and Connie (Wynn) Parker.

The family would like to thank the care givers at Maple Springs, and Integrity Home Health and Hospice for their kind and loving care.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. – Tremonton, UT) with a viewing held prior the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will follow the service at the Brigham City Cemetery.
