Actress, chorus girl, model, the original Breck Shampoo girl. Wife of Harold Arlen. A willowy blond, Arlen fell head over heals in love with her and over the strenuous objections of his parents, who were very open to many diverse cultures, felt strongly about their son marrying someone that was not Jewish. Her films included: Murder at the Vanities (1934), Broadway Melody of 1936 (1936), The Affair of Susan (1935), The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo (1935), Escape (1940) and Ziegfeld Girl (1941).

Cause of death: Brain tumor
She was the second Breck girl used for the shampoo Brecks, she spent 7 years of her adult life institutionalized for threatening her husband & herself with bodily harm.She died of a brain tumor & is buried next to her husband, who was devoted to her their entire marriage
