Alva Eldon Armbruster of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Boxwell Brothers Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount.

Eldon was born in Sayre Oklahoma May 04, 1928, to Frank and Dorthea Armbruster.

Eldon worked at Pantex for many years and retired in 1978. Eldon and Nancy began a career in homebuilding after his retirement.

Eldon & Nancy enjoyed 52 years of marriage and traveling the United States.

Eldon was a longtime member of St. Ann's Catholic Church of Canyon. Member of Allegro Motorhome Club and Panhandle Travel Motorhome Club.

Eldon was preceded in death by his parents; Frank and Dorthea; two brothers, and one sister, and one daughter.

Survivors include his wife Nancy, of the home; Son Ed and wife Shirley of Dallas, Son Keith and partner Jason of San Diego, Son Anthony of Amarillo, Daughter Debbie of Dallas, Daughter Diana and Mike of Amarillo, Daughter Mitsi and Sean of Amarillo. Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren.

Two special fur babies that brought Eldon much joy Cricket and Tippi.
