Dorothy Armistead Addington, age 84, a 47-year resident of Westerville ended her long battle with Parkinson's Disease July 18, 2008. She retired as Clerk of Westerville City Council and assistant to the City Manager. Long time active member of Church of the Master U.M., an active leader and member of the Westerville League of Women Voters and a longtime member of CCL. She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin Walter and Ruby Wright Armistead, brothers Fred and James Armistead. Survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Chester L. Addington; children, Paul (Victoria), John (Margaret) and Patricia Ann (William); seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren; brother, Marvin (Gladys) Armistead; sisters-in-law, Betty Armistead and Melva Addington Armistead. Interment Otterbein Cemetery.
