Passed away at the People's Hospital. Wife of Con A. Ahern. Sister of Mrs. (Armour) Nielson of Reno, Nevada, William, Eddie A., James of Oakland and John A. of Denver.

MRS. CON AHERN CLAIMED BY DEATH. Mrs. Minnie Ahern, wife of Con Ahern, who was for a number of years sergeant-at-arms of the senate, died at a local hospital this morning as the result of an operation for appendicitis. She was 35 years of age, a native of San Jose, California. Mrs. Ahern was formerly Miss Minnie Armour of San Jose, and she was well known in the Garden City. The body will be shipped to her parents. Mrs. Peter Nielson, a sister of Mrs. Ahern, resides in this city.

Mrs. Con Ahern, who died at the People's Hospital yesterday morning, was Miss Minnie Armour before her marriage, and lived in San Jose, where she was born in 1873. Mrs. Peter Nielson of Reno was her sister. The body will be sent to California for interment.
