She was born July 11, 1940, in Johnson County, the daughter of Orville Arms and Catherine Conley Arms.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Edward Adkins; four daughters, Febby Jo Faerber. of Brentwood,Tenn.; Scotti Ann Kepp of Sumpter, South Carolina; Christy Carol Fuller of Huntingon,West Virginia; and Toby Leigh Adkins of South Point, Ohio; two brothers, James Arms of Florida;and Bill Arms of South Point, Ohio; three sisters, Doris Prince of Columbus, Ohio; Betty Ransbottom of Chesapeake, Ohio; and Linda Storey of Corpus Christi,Texas; and seven grandchildren.
Services were at the Highland Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dick VanHoose officiating and Jones-Preston Funeral Home caring for those arrangements.
Burial was at Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville
