COTTAGE GROVE — A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. July 25 at Shield Cemetery in Cottage Grove for Shirley Ann Allen, who died July 2 of heart failure at age 60.
She was born Oct. 2, 1949 in Murphy, N.C., to Donald and Nancy (Gentry) Arms and moved to Cottage Grove in 1961.
She married John H. Allen on March 2, 1966, in Cottage Grove.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her mother, Nancy Arms of Cottage Grove; son Jeff Allen of Cottage Grove; daughter Trish Berg of Salem; five sisters, Donna Larkin of McMinnville, Jeanette Wong of Escondido, Renee Leonard of Salem, and Sally Arms and Missy Cisco of Cottage Grove; brothers Tony and Tim Arms of Hillsboro, and four grandchildren.
