Age 73 - Charlotte Anne (White) Armstrong, a retired teacher's aide, died last Thursday in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was 73.

Born in Jamaica Plain, Mrs. Armstrong was educated in Lynn before moving to Peabody in 1952.

She was married to Robert Armstrong, who died in 2004.

For many years, she was employed at the Almy's department store in Peabody. Mrs. Armstrong was also a teacher's aide at the Center Elementary School in Peabody, and regularly served as an election worker at polling stations across the city.

Mrs. Armstrong leaves four sons, Brad L. of Methuen, Barry W. of Merrimac, Bruce W. of Wakefield, and Pastor Bobby G. of Tennessee; two brothers, John of Tennessee and David of Massachusetts; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday.
