Pearl E. Adams, 90, of 1317 Mercer Road, Franklin, died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at home of natural causes.

Born Dec. 18, 1921, in Worth Township, Mercer County, she was a daughter of Lester L. and Sarah E. Kilgore Armstrong.

Pearl attended Sandy Lake area schools and was of the Protestant faith.

As a homemaker, Pearl enjoyed crocheting and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed visiting with friends.

Her husband, Glenn T. Adams whom she married April 17, 1943, preceded her in death June 1, 1984.

She is survived by a daughter, Jenetta S. Adams and her companion Earl Rockwell of Oil City; two sons, Thomas James Adams and his wife Margaret of Oil City and Lester L. Adams and his companion Margie Mitchell of Franklin; four grandchildren, Aaron Adams, Kenneth Maxwell, Jeffrey Maxwell and Melissa Maxwell; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, George Clark Adams; and a brother, Harold W. Armstrong.

At Pearl's request, there will be no viewing or service.

Interment will be in the Mill Bank Cemetery, Fredonia, Pa.
