LUFKIN - Mary E. Armstrong Allen, 59, of Lufkin died Friday at Memorial Medical Center of East Texas in Lufkin.

Born June 27, 1930, in Galveston, she was a resident of Lufkin for 19 years, formerly of Galveston.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd T. Armstrong of La Marque; one son, Gregory Lee Farmer of Rusk: and two brothers, Glen Armstrong of Lufkin and Arnold Armstrong of Galveston.

A visitation will be held after 4 p.m. today at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Gwen Blackwell Eagleson officiating. Burial will be at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, under the direction of the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dale Armstrong, O.L. Armstrong, Vernon Armstrong, J.H. Coffey, H.K. Decker and L.J. Myers.

Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
