She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bethesda, MD. She and her husband spent 34 years in the U.S. Navy Medical Corp, where he served as a medical doctor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Malcolm W. Arnold Sr and is survived by two sons, Malcolm Wesley "Wes" Arnold of Batesville, MS and Kenneth Hamilton Arnold of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Seabrook Kessel of Fairfield, MA.
