He had been a resident of Oneida for many years and besides his wife he leaves two daughters. Miss Rhoda Ashby and Mrs. LeRoy Blanchard of this city, a son, Lansing Ashby of Syracuse, and two sisters, Mrs. John W. Cole of Oriskany and Mrs. William J. Griffith of Cortland.
