West Chazy — A few evenings since, a large company of invited guests met at the home of Mrs.

Perry to celebrate the nuptials of her daughter, Miss Ada Perry and Mr. Henry Ashley of St. Albans,Vt The Rev. E. L. Arnold of this place officiated. After extending congratulations, the company were invited to a rich repast.A very enjoyable evening was passed, and at a late hour the company dispersed, wishing the young couple a Happy New Year and a long life of wedded bliss.

Mrs. Ada A. Ashley 84, of West Chazy, passed away at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home following a long illness.

She was a faithful member of Methodist Episcopal church in west Chazy, and Dawn Chapter No. 604 Order of the Eastern Star.

The only survivor is one son. Merton H. Ashley with whom she resided.

Funeral services will be held from her late home at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and burial will be in the Lengfeld cemetery in Ingraham, Rev. John G. Guyer. pastorvof the M.E. church in West Chazy, will officiate at the rites.
