Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Saturday April 13, 2013 at Meredith-Nowell Chapel in Clarksdale, MS. with burial in the Belen Cemetery in Belen, MS.. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS. is handling the arrangements.

She was a member of Apostolic Abundant Life Church of Boyle, MS.

Survivors include: son Charley Ashmore Jr. (Johnna) of Courtland, MS.; 4 daughters; Charlene Yount and Becky Williams of Lyon, MS., Norma Pinkston of Toccopola, MS. and Cathy Ashmore of Belen, MS.; 4 sisters; Carolyn Williams and Debra Sims of Toccopola, MS., Barbara Caruso of New Jersey and Elaine King of Oxford, MS.; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Charley Ashmore Sr., son Billy Wayne Ashmore and brother Richard Sims.
