Preceded in death by parents, Joseph Walter and Rosa Mae Nall Ashworth; wife of 65 years, Mattie Lanius Ashworth in 2002; infant daughter, Sara Mae; brothers, Max (Fate) and Pierre (Perry); son-in-law, Harold White. Survived by three sons, Ray (Faye), John (Brenda), Wayne (Delores) Ashworth; three daughters, Martha (Joe) Jackson, Pat White and Sue (Freddy) Overstreet; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Rose officiating.
