ASHWORTH, Mattie Coleman- Age 81, entered her Heavenly home on July 17, 2002. She was God's special gift to her family. Preceded in death by parents, Charles Richard and Eva Belle Byrum Lanius; daughter, Sara Mae Ashworth; and son-in-law, Harold White. Survived by husband, Edward R. Ashworth; sons, Ray (Faye) Ashworth, John (Brenda) Ashworth and Wayne (Delores) Ashworth; daughters, Martha (Joe) Jackson, Pat White and Sue (Freddy) Overstreet; 10 grandchildren: and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Annyce Graham Lanius Baker. Mrs. Ashworth's remains rest at the Madison Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, 2002 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Friday, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m., in the Madison Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Gary Rose and Bro. Ray Ashworth officiating. Mrs. Ashworth was a member of Madison First Assembly of God Church. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers: Interment to follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, MADISON FU NERAL HOME, 868-9020; 24 HR OBIT, 860-9200: Still Family Owned
