Lloyd Aspinwall, aged 37 years, and the son of the late General Lloyd Aspinwall died on 10 July 1899 from Bright's disease at the Metropolitan Hotel. His brother and Mr. Goodwin, his brother-in-law, were with him at death. He married Nina G. Sutton, daughter of the late Cornelius K. Sutton, [and wife Clara B. Sutton, and buried in Greenwood Cemetery], a wealthy merchant. Mr. & Mrs. Aspinwall had two children and thereafter separated. Mrs. Aspinwall died in January 1897 and a few days later her eight year old daughter [Beatrice] followed her in death. The son, about 16 years old, supposedly went to live with relatives in Colorado. Funeral from Grace Church, Broadway and 10th Street.
Present at the funeral were his brother William H. Aspinwall and the Rev. John Aspinwall of Washington, D. C.
