Hilda Mae Adams, 70, of Montross, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014. She was a kind-hearted homemaker and was a member of Providence United Methodist Church.
Hilda is survived by her son, Douglas Adams; daughter, Victoria Kilmon (Johnny); brothers, Aubrey and Ricky Atchison; granddaughter, Amanda Kilmon; and great-grandson, J.C. Taylor.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Carroll Adams, Jr.; brother, Ronnie Atchison; and sisters, Linda and Evelyn Atchison.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2014 at Welch Funeral Home-Montross Chapel with interment following at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Montross Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1174 Montross, VA 22520.
