Laura Grace Atchison Andrews - A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died at Mercy Medical (Daphne, AL) on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the age of 82. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. Laura's two passions in life were her family and her love of gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 52 years, W.E. "Andy" Andrews; her parents, A.O. and Minnie Julia Grandquest Atchison; her brothers, Roy, Leon and Austin Atchison; her sisters, Mary Jones and Sylvia Davis. Laura is survived by her four children, Geri Andrews of Daphne, E.A. "Bubba" (Ann) Andrews of Mobile, Sharon (Bunky) Hancock of Daphne and Allen (Pam) Andrews of Mobile; as well as Andy's daughter, Ginny Ruth Rabb of Mobile. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Drew (Amy) Andrews, Laura Hancock, Brady Hancock, Lexus Andrews, Chandler Andrews and William Andrews, all of Mobile, Morgan Andrews of Auburn, AL and Jennifer Hancock of Dothan, AL. Her surviving siblings include Faye Roan of Mobile, Yvonne Hubbard of Chatom, AL, Jim Atchison of Mobile and Alfred Atchison of Louisiana. Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, March 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made in Laura's name to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL.

Mrs. Laura Atchison Andrews - Graveside services and interment were held Friday, March 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery with Rev. Robert Sweet officiating. Pallbearers were Larry Hubbard, Bryan Hubbard, Donald Friedlander, Harold Fink, Burch Poole, Eddie Andrews, Bob Sellars and Tony Atchison. Soloist was Joseph Powell. Arrangements were by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street Ext., Mobile, AL.
