Ralph W. Atwell, a buyer for Kaufmann's Dept. Store for 42 years prior to his retirement in 1958, died yesterday in Suburban General Hospital.
Mr. Atwell, 77, of 426 Orchard Ave., Bellevue, was a member of Bellevue Presbyterian Church, Crescent Lodge 576, F&AM and the Buyers and Managers Assn.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Laura May Atwell; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Wagner of Erie and Mrs. Charlotte Woodside of Bellevue; two sons, R. Wayne Atwell of Franklin Park Borough and William J. Atwell of Bloomingdale, NJ; a brother, Frank C. Atwell of Wenonah, NJ; eight grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at Lester C. McDonald Funeral Home, Avalon. Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
