Bea was born in Quarryville a daughter of the late Howard B. and Elsie P. Rineer LeFevre. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Quarryville and a former member of Olivet United Methodist Church in Coatesville.
Bea received her nurses training from WYCA Practical Nurses Association and interned at the Odd Fellows Hospital in Elizabethtown. She remained active in the Nurses Association throughout her career. She made her living as a full-time home care nurse until taking a position as an office nurse with Dr. Robert Erdman, a podiatrist in Coatesville, for 25 years. She then returned to home health care nursing. She retired in 1989 at the age of 81. Bea was artistic and enjoyed knitting and all kinds of needlework along with being a great baker of cookies and cakes.
She is survived by a sister Vivien L. Groff of Quarryville; a niece Cinda J. married to Charles "Cork" Stoner; and a nephew, Gregory married to Roula Groff of Quarryville.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA. Kindly omit flowers. Contributions may be made in Bea's memory to a charity of choice.
