Mrs. Jessie Mary Auger, 84, of 12 Cummings Street, Massena, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 1976 at Massena Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for one week.

Mrs. Auger was born in Gouverneur,, March 2, 1891, the daughter of Thomas Harmer and Mary Carey Harmer. She was employed at Trudeau and Raybrook Sanitariums before her marriage. She married Edward Auger June 15, 1922, at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Timothy P. Holland, pastor, officiating. Her husband died August 3, 1942.

Mrs. Auger is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Santo (Agnes) Savoca, one son, Edmund Auger; one step-daughter, Mrs. Frank (Margaret) DaVilla; one sister, Mrs. Rose VanCour; six grandchildren and one step grandchild.

She was predeceased by one sister, Mrs. Agnes Lincoln; two brothers, James Harmer and Thomas Harmer (WWI).

Mrs. Auger was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. She had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Savoca for the last six years.
