Erin Katherine August, three-day-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B. August Sr., of 10 Sidney Place, Newport News, died Friday in Riverside Hospital. Surviving besides her parents are a brother, John B. August Jr.; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Bryan of Alhambra, Calif.; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence B. August Jr. of Newport News; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Thompson of Los Angeles, and paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Bryan of Alhambra. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Greenlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Norberrt Piper, pastor of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, officiating. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Heart Fund.
