BANGOR - Sharon Edith (Averill) Archer, 65, passed away Feb. 9, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1947, in Bangor, daughter of Roger and Irene Lillith (Sproul) Averill.
Sharon was a graduate of John Bapst High School, and attended San Jose (Calif.) College. She was a longtime resident of Bangor House.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward; two brothers, Lawrence and Roland Averill; and sister, Irene Kenney. Sharon is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Averill of Orono and Terrance Averill of Oregon; sister, Lucille "Cindy" DeBeck of Newburgh; special niece, Jennifer Kenney Murphy; and several other nieces and nephews.
