Passed away early Saturday, February 05, 2005 at Saint Mary's hospital after a lengthy illness. Age 56 years. Terrie Lee Averill was born November 12, 1948 in Saginaw.
She graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1966 and attended Great Lakes Junior College.
She retired as a Deputy from the Saginaw County Sheriff Department. She enjoyed spending time with her special grandchildren and family. She was an active member of the Tri-County Snow Goers and enjoyed playing shuffle board.
She married Bryan M. Levy on October 31, 1997; he survives her. She also leaves two sons, John (Lisa) and Jeff Allen; two grandchildren, Nicole and Jeffery; two step-sons and one step-daughter, Scott, Tom and Jodi; four step-grandchildren; her step-mother Mary Averill and mother-in-law Viola Miller; three sisters, Catherine, Joyce and Carol; her Godson Scott Averill; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father, Robert Averill; her mother Elizabeth (Buxman) Bloomer, and a nephew Joseph Nettleton.
Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2004 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Dr. Robert Thaler will officiate. Friends may call at the chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday and then from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Monday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to her family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
