Florence, 66, of Riverdale, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center Gratiot.
Funeral services were held on Friday, January 25th at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Riverdale with Pastor George Showers officiating.
Florence was the daughter of Earl and Florence (Tipton) Avery. She married Randall Pendell on May 3, 1962 in Riverdale. She was an avid supporter of the Alma FFA, helping them sell nuts and fruits from 1987 until 2012. Florence also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Together with her husband, they owned and operated Pendell Excavating for over 35 years. She loved spending time with her family.
Florence is survived by her husband, Randall of Riverdale, a daughter, Lynnette Vaughn, two sons, Lannie (Denice) Pendell and Monty (Sue Gagne) Pendell, honorary son, Daniel (Tami) Wiles, four grandchildren, Angie, Ashley, Kristy and Tyler, three great-grandchildren, Kolby, Wyatt and Rayleigh. Also five brothers, and one sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
