Joseph A. Avery of Delran, formerly Philadelphia, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016. He was 90.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Avery and Frances M. (Kerrigan) Avery. He was the loving brother of Sister Frances William, GNSH, Joan D. Conrey (Jim), Jean T. Del Fera, the late James J. Avery (Mary), the late William J. Avery (Betty), the late Frances M. DeFilippis (Dan), and the late Edward R. Avery (Mary). He was the loving uncle of many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to Joseph's life celebration service from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Snover Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Resurrection Parish, St. Casimir's Site, 502 New Jersey Ave., Riverside. Burial will take place in Lakeview
Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Holy Innocents' Society, 101 Middleton St., Riverside, NJ 08075.
