Mrs. Frank Ansley passed away at her home in Whitneyville at 4, a.m., Monday June 22, after an illness of less than one week from a stroke of paralysis.
Funeral services were held at the Cascade church of Christ, of which she was a member, at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Vernon Nelson of Grand Rapids officiating; burial at Cascade.
Agnes Ayres was born near Bluffton, Ind., and was 66 years old when she died. She attended school at Terre Haute, Ind., and became a teacher in the public schools of Wells county. Was married to Frank Ansley in Grand Rapids October 2, 1889.
She was the last to depart this life of a family of ten children, her oldest brother, J.D. Ayres having recently died at Lafeyette, Ind.
She was converted to Christ and baptised in the Wabash river when about 25 years of age, thus becoming a member of the church of Christ at a country place called Buck Eye, in Wells county, Ind.
