Pardeeville - Aaron Wesley Babcock, age 16, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at his home, due to an unknown heart condition. Aaron was born on June 28, 1988, in Portage, the son of Wesley and Sue (Wychgram) Babcock. He attended Pardeeville High School and would have been a junior this year. He followed in his father's footsteps, running on both the track and cross country teams. Aaron was also a guard in basketball. This year Aaron was nominated for National Honor Society. Aaron was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He and his family loved to travel to Yellow Stone National Park to photograph animals and camp. Aaron's greatest love was for his parents and his sister, Megan. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving parents, Wesley and Sue Babcock of Pardeeville; sister, Megan of Pardeeville; grandparents, Vera Wychgram of Winona, Minn., and Wes and Dorothy Babcock of Janesville; aunts, Cindy (Larry) Vordemann of Milton, and Char Babcock of Evansville; cousin, Stephanie Hagen of Milton; other near relatives; and many, many dear classmates and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lester Wychgram. A Mass of Christian Burial for Aaron Babcock will be held on Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the ST. MARY CHURCH in Pardeeville. Father John Hedrick will preside. Burial will follow in the Marcellon Cemetery.
