Bache, Carl A.

Freeville: Carl A. Bache, age 87, of Freeville, NY passed away Monday, September 09, 2013 at Cayuga Medical Center after a brief illness. Born April 25, 1926 in Huntington, Long Island, he was a son of the late Otto and M. Anna Albrecht Bache. Carl was a graduate of Virgil High School and received his B.S. from Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving as Sergeant with the US Army. He had been employed at Cornell University for 32 years as a Research Specialist at the Toxic Chemicals Laboratory prior to his retirement. Carl was a life member of the W.B. Strong Fire Company, Freeville. He will be dearly missed. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, ........ In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Arnold J. Bache in 1981. At Carl's request there will be private graveside services, in Willow Glen Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
