Clifton H. Bading, of Seguin, died on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the age of 91.

Visitation will be held monday, October 10, in the Front Stateroom at Goetz Funeral Home from 10 am until 7 pm with the family receiving friends from 5-7. Burial will be held at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park on Tuesday, October 11 with full military honors, a memorial service will follow at First Baptist Church at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Brice Mandaville presiding.

Clifton was born in Guadalupe County in the Geronimo community on April 20, 1920 to Elmor and Irma Eberhard Bading. After graduating from Navarro High School, he entered the Army Air Force where he served 20 years. After retirement from the military, he worked for the united States Postal Service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he served as an usher, deacon and on various committees before his health prevented him to attend. He was married on December 20, 1941 to Kathleen Yeary.

He is preceded in death be his parents and brother Lee Bading. he is survived be is loving wife of 69 years, Kathleen Bading,; 2 sons, Mike Bading with wife Janis of Rosanke, Texas and Dr. James Bading with wife Karen of South Pasadena, California; 3 grandchildren, Brady, Clint and Anne Bading and 1 great grandchild Sophie Bading.
