Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bailey-Love Mortuary, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Randy Hensley will be officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Lowell was born October 30, 1935 in Lagrange, Indiana, the son of William and Nina (Mishler) Baer. He graduated from high School in Middlebury, Indiana and attended International Business School in Fort Wayne. He married Jeanine Sutter on December 30, 1955 in Fort Wayne.
Lowell worked for Mobile Chemical for 20 years as an agriculture fertilizer salesman and sold insurance for Prairie Farm Insurance. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Huntington. He lived in Peoria, Illinois for 35 years and also lived in Marcellus, Michigan for 10 years, where he retired. Lowelll loved baseball and tolerated his wife's love of animals.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years-Jeanine Baer of Huntington, one sister, Marilyn (Don) Anderson of Elkhart, Indiana and several nephews and nieces.
