Mrs. Amelia Baer of Dayton died in the St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette, at 4 o'clock last Sunday morning, at the age of 75. She was born in Dayton, April 6, 1876, the daughter of Henry and Mary Burkhalter Rumfelt. On April 6, 1899, she was married to Wilson Baer, who died Sept. 20, 1943.

She was a member of the Methodist church and the Eastern Star at Dayton.

No near blood relatives survive, the nearest being second cousins. Nevin Baer is a brother-in-law. Although a resident of Dayton, she was frequently in Mulberry and well known here.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist church at Dayton, the Rev. H. Earl Moore officiating. Burial was in the Dayton cemetery. Arrangements were by M. E. Kleinsmith.
