David was born to Cyrene Neff and Martha Edna Davidson Bagley. He grew up in the Cottonwood area and graduated from Granite High School. He attended Utah State University receiving a B. S. in Dairy Science. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served a mission to the East Central States. He married Reuvo Chamberlain, daughter of Justin and Helen Mar Bunker Chamberlain, on October 10, 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. David lived and raised a family in Cottonwood, Utah and on the family ranch in Callao, Utah. He loved telling people about the ranch and the history of the Pony Express and participating in commemorative re-rides of the Pony Express. He served a second LDS mission with his wife Reuvo in 1988 to the West Virginia Charleston mission and has served in various church callings including branch president of the Callao-Trout Creek Branch. David always had a smile and a story to share. He always got the last word in any exchange. He is survived by his wife Reuvo; children, Amy Marie (Melvin R) Wright, Charles David (Ann) Bagley, Nancy (A. Bryce) Hanks, Ruth (Jarl K, Jr) Jacobson, Beth (Don V) Anderson; twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; siblings Jean (Harvey) Lloyd, Marian (DL) Woodward, Frank Davidson (Marlene) Bagley, and Catherine (Frank Pond) Reese. Preceded in death by his parents Cyrene and Martha; and brother Charles Robert Bagley.
