Loa/Koosharem, Utah - Vonda Idell Bagley Anderson, age 95, died Sunday, October 8, 2006, peacefully at her home in Loa, with two of her sons and their wives at her side.

She was born May 7, 1911 in Koosharem, Utah, a daughter of Edward Carroll and Pauline Martinsen Bagley.

Vonda attended Richfield High School and graduated in 1929. She attended Snow College in Ephraim for one year. She married Rolland Larue Anderson, July 2, 1931 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died January 7, 1981.

Vonda was a very active member of the LDS Church, serving in all the auxiliaries. She was the ward organist for over 50 years and she played for a community orchestra. Vonda was born and raised in Koosharem and lived there until 1997 when she moved to Loa, to be closer to her children.

She is survived by her children: Marlowe and Alice Anderson, Kerry and Sherrie Anderson, all of Loa; Carmen and Mitchell Lyle Stevens, Sr. of Pleasant Grove; Kathleen and LeVoy Hansen of Ogden; Jan and Margie Anderson of Payson; 26 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna B. Harward of Loa.

She was preceded in death by a son, Armond McRae Anderson; 4 brothers, Merrill, Ellis, Verge and Ben Bagley and a sister, Ila Mary Magleby.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. in the Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the ward chapel in Koosharem Saturday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
