Mrs. Alice M. Bailey, 62, died at the Gardiner General Hospital Saturday after a long illness. She was born in Whitefield, April 6, 1898, daughter of William and Margaret McGrath Hickey.
She is survived by her husband, Leland V Bailey; two sons, Louis of Waldoboro and David of Chelsea, two daughters, Mrs. Chester Genthner of Pittston and Mrs. Robert Sullivan of Canton, Mass., six brothers, Joseph Hickey of South Portland, John, Jerome and Fred of Whitefield; William of Gardiner and Maurice of Cumberland Center, a sister, Mrs. Richard Watson of Portland and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at St. Denis Catholic Church, North Whitefield, Saturday, at 9 a.m. Burieal was in Calvary Cemetery, North Whitefield.
