Stella was 17 on December 31, 1895 when she married Dr. Paschal B. Richards of Bradford. He was 66 and Stella was his fourth marriage. Her first child, Helen was born in December of 1895. She had 2 more children before Dr. Richards died in 1906. In 1910 she was a "Washerwoman" who had a railroad man, Roy W. Adams for a boarder. She marries Adams in 1911, but divorces him in 1930 for abandonment.
