Elsie V. Bair, 98, of Peshtigo, WI passed away May 14, 2016, at Rennes Health Center West. Born April 19, 1918, daughter of the late Jesse and Clara (Fisher) Caylor, she grew up in McAllister and attended school there.
Elsie married Earl Bruette, who preceded her in death in 1937
and later married Willard Bair who also preceded her 1981.
Elsie worked at the Marinette County Asylum and Rydal's Cleaners. She enjoyed her bus trips to the casino with her best friend Clara and doing word search and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two sons: Earl (Barbara) Bruette Caylor of Oregon and Stephen (Donna) Bair of Peshtigo, WI;
12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and her husbands, Earl and Willard, she was preceded in death by, a daughter, Barbara Finnel; a grandson, Bruce Gregersen; two brothers, Charles and Omer; two sisters, Mildred and Dorothy; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 18, at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial service at noon with Pastor Kevin Dembinski officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Garden in Marinette.
