Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Parson Mortuary for Pleasant M. Baker, 68, RR 1, Albany, who died Wednesday in Ball Hospital where he was taken after becoming ill Tuesday.
Rev. Paul Hill, pastor of the Christ United Methodist Church, Selma, will officiate and burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. today and before the services Friday.
Mr. Baker was a native of Randolph County. He had farmed in Delaware County since 1938 and was also an employe of Warner Gear, retiring in 1969 after 35 years.
He was a member of the Parker Masonic Lodge, Delaware County Farm Bureau, Local 287, United Auto Workers, and the Warner Gear Sympathy Club.
