Marion S. Anguish, 97, former resident of the Towers Apartments, Fulton, NY, passed away at Oswego Hospital after a brief stay at Morningside Residential Care Center on Tuesday April 30, 2013. Born in Pompey Hollow, NY, on February 10, 1916 to her late parents, Margaret (Cathers) and Ernest Balch. She was a member of the Lysander United Methodist Church until its closing. Marion was employed by General Electric Co., Syracuse retiring in 1978 after 26 1/2 years of service. She was a member of the I. U. E. Local 320; an avid gardener. Marion was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Robert P. Anguish. Surviving are her three sons, Robert (Carol) Anguish of Baldwinsville, Kenneth (Reta) Anguish of Fulton, and Richard (Edna) Anguish of Cape Vincent; one daughter, Arbutus "Arby" (David) Shurtleff of Cato; one brother Donald Balch of Nelson; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services only, are on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Lysander Union Cemetery, Lamson Rd. at the corner of Avery Rd., Lysander, NY with the Rev. Martha Robinson officiating.
