BALCH, BEATRICE KATHLEEN— Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for Beatrice Kathleen Balch, 57, 1201 Wilson Avenue, Oildale, who died Aug. 27. Mr. Claude Downs will officiate and Eastern Star services will be conducted by Libertas Chapter No. 362. Private interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Balch, a native of Maricopa, resided in California all her life and in Kern County 38 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Libertas Chapter No. 362.
Survivors include the widower Thomas; 2 sons, Robert
Lease of Bakersfield and Tommy Balch of San Francisco; a daughter, Doris Soden of Bakersfield; 3 sisters, Doris Stanuchich and Marian Congdon of Los Angeles, and Mildred Collins of Oildale; 3 brothers, Norman Thompson of Los Angeles, Edwin Thompson of Nevada and Francis "Bud" Thompson of Arizona; and 5 grandchildren.
