Bridget "Bride" (Connolly) Baldwin, 70, of Proctor, died Saturday, July 26, 2003, in Benedictine Health Care Center surrounded by her family.
Bridget was born in St. John's, Newfoundland on Nov.15, 1932, to Stanislaus and Margaret (Skanes) Connolly. On Feb. 24, 1952, she married the love of her life, Lloyd W. Baldwin in St. John's, Newfoundland. Bride volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital in the newborn ICU for 18 years, and at the Nopeming Nursing Home. Bride loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. She dedicated her life to serving St. Rose Catholic Church where she was a faithful member for many years and active in the Legion of Mary.
Bridget was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, Lloyd W. in Oct. 1991; and her grandson, Nicholas Shrake; and one brother.
She is survived by her children, Mary Ann Drabik, Paul (Doreen), Robert (Phyllis), James, Margaret ''Peggy'' (Terry) Shrake, Theresa Baldwin, Mark, Louis (Patty), Catherine "Cathy' (Paul LaPorte), William "Billy"; 24 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery.
