Donnalene Kahaunani De Mello, 70 of Makawao, passed away on May 30, 2015 at her residence with Islands Hospice care and with her family by her side. She was born on September 18, 1944 in Lahaina, Maui.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kahului Stake Center; services will begin at 12:30 p.m. and burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park at 2 p.m.

Donnalene was a Homemaker and Crafter. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and found it a pleasure to serve others.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford De Mello; sons, Blaise (Stacy) De Mello, and Daine (Kelcie) De Mello; daughters, Lisa (Alika) Cuttie, and Anela (Jason) Hoopai; sisters, Carol Medeiros, Rainell Soong, and Rosemary Baldwin; brother, Donald Baldwin; hanai brother, John Napaepae; and grandchildren, Jaymen, Nalu, Shania, Mia, Alyssa, Kalia, Malika, Kanoa, Rayne, and Blaine.

The family wishes to express gratitude for the support and care received from Islands Hospice.
