Nathaniel Baldwin was born in 1620 in Buckinghamshire, England. He married Abigail Camp on June 9, 1644 in Milford, New Haven Co, Conn. They had three known children during their marriage which are listed below. He passed away in 1658 in Fairfield County, Connecticut at the relatively young age of 38 and was laid to rest in the "0ld Burying Ground" in Fairfield, Connecticut next to his beloved Abigail.

The son of my ancestors, RICHARD & ISABEL (HARDING) BALDWIN, he married Abigail Camp in 1644 in Milford.

Nathaniel Baldwin came with his two brothers, Joseph & TIMOTHY BALDWIN, and in the company of my ancestor, SYLVESTER BALDWIN, who died during the voyage. Along with his two brothers & Sylvester's wife, the widow Baldwin, they settled in Wepawaug (Milford) in the Colony of Conn. where he had homelot #7 He was a free planter in November, 1639 and a cooper by trade.

He moved to Fairfield around 1641 where he was given lot #13.

The N.E. Gen. Register, Vol. XXIV, pg. 31 & 32, says Nathaniel died in 1658.

1. Nathaniel Baldwin, a Puritan emigrant, who settled in Milford, Conn. in 1639. His first wife was Abigail Camp, who died in Milford March 22, 1648. His second wife was Joanna Westcoat, widow of Richard Westcoat, who died in 1682. He died in Fairfield, Conn. in 1658, leaving the following children: John; Daniel; Nathaniel; Abigail; Samuel; Sarah and Deborah."
